Ms. Hale gave us an insight on what she loves the most about her job by stating “the ability to be flexible, no day is the same!”

What inspires Ms. Hale about being a school counselor is “the endless possibilities, being able to motivate when students don’t think they can and letting them know they can!”

Ms. Hale expresses that “motivating students to further reach their career opportunities” is what she enjoys and inspires her the most to come to work every day!

The Highland High School Bulldogs are incredibly lucky to have such a committed and caring Head Counselor to lead her equally amazing team!

Counselor Corner: Cynthia Mesler

Cynthia Mesler is a Counselor at Highland High School!

What Ms. Mesler loves the most about being a Counselor is “the interaction with the students, hearing their day-to-day stories, and the way they help me be positive about supporting them!”

What inspires Ms. Mesler the most is “working with students day-to-day and graduation.” She fondly recalls that “graduation is a fun time to see the students’ next adventures, especially when they come back and tell us all of the amazing things they’re doing!”

The Bulldogs are truly fortunate to be able to lean on such an empathetic and supportive School Counseling staff!
