School Spotlight: Quartz Hill High School
Counselor Corner: Gretchen Vidal
My name is Gretchen Vidal and I am the Head Counselor at Quartz Hill High School. I have been an Educational School Counselor at the High School level for the past 7 years and have 14 years of experience working in the Educational Field. I have a passion for what I do and am dedicated to ensuring that students of all ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds acquire the skills needed for college and beyond. It is always my goal to help students achieve success by providing guidance on career options, higher education choices, and making sure students have a solid foundation socially, emotionally, and academically. I love what I do and plan to continue to let my passion as a School Counselor shine through me each and every day!
Counselor Corner: Latisha Sampson
I enjoy being a high school counselor because the profession allows me to make a positive impact on students’ lives, help them navigate challenges, plan their futures, and provide valuable support during a crucial stage of their development. I have an opportunity to witness students overcome obstacles, achieve personal growth, and make informed decisions about their academic and personal lives. The sense of fulfillment comes from playing a pivotal role in shaping their futures and fostering a positive impact on their overall well-being.
